The library has an extensive Sri Lanka-related collection of articles and books that covers the natural history, flora, and fauna of the island. Nineteenth and early twentieth-century holdings are particularly strong, but there are also many entries from late twentieth and twenty-first century scientific journals. The library also includes some more general descriptive works. Holdings include the Tropical Agriculturist from 1882 through 1912. It is possible to search the full-text of holdings as well as the catalogue entries.
