The collection’s main focus is archaeology and cultural conservation in Sri Lanka and the SAARC Region. There is a CD and DVD collection containing documentary programs on major heritage sites and copies of the CCF newsletter. Specialist holdings include UNESCO and ICOMOS conservation documents and journals of the Dept. of Archaeology of Sri Lanka.
The CCF legal deposit holds an extensive collection on sculpture and paintings of Sri Lanka, an index of postgraduate theses in archaeology from 1981 to 2000, and archaeological reports from Kandy, Dambulla, Alahana Pirivena, Abhayagiriya, Jetavanaramaya, Dambulla, Kandy and Sigiriya. The collection also covers the history of Colombo.
