Council of American Overseas Research (CAORC) National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Senior Research Fellowships support advanced research in the humanities for US citizens who hold a PhD (and also foreign national scholars who have been resident in the US for at least three years). They provide an opportunity for scholars to spend significant time in one country with an ORC as a research base. Individuals may apply to spend to be affiliated with AISLS. Approximately three awards will be granted. Fellowship stipends are $5,000 per month for four to six consecutive months. This program is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) under the Fellowship Programs at Independent Research Institutions (FPIRI).
