Travel Grants for Participants in the South Asia “Dissertation-to-Book” Workshop, Madison, WI, 29-30 October 2024
This workshop, which is organized by the American Institute of Indian Studies and co-sponsored by AISLS, welcomes applications from recent PhDs whose work is on Sri Lanka or other regions of South Asia. Applications to participate are due by 31 July 2024. For details of the application process consult the workshop webpage, which will be updated in spring 2024.
AISLS offers grants of $400 to persons who attend this workshop and who do not have a tenure-track position and who are members of AISLS as of 31 July 2024. After your proposal has been accepted by the workshop organizers, contact John Rogers (us.director.aisls@gmail.com) about this travel award.
