The ICES collection is strong in social sciences and gender studies, cultural studies, ethnicity, identity politics, anthropology, transitional justice, law, history, South Asian feminism, and English Literature (South Asian fiction collection). The Transitional Justice collection can be accessed online at http://ices.lk/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Books-on-TJ2.pdf. Rare publications at the library include Presidential Reports and the Sansoni Reports on 1977 violence. ICES library holdings include an archive of its own publications since the early 1980s.
Note that ICES also has an office in Kandy.
