A search for “Ceylon” or “Sri Lanka” yields thousands of results available online. Unique strengths of this collection include archives of websites, American congressional legislation about Sri Lanka, maps, twentieth-century photographs, and a variety of books available online. Additionally, The Library of Congress New Delhi Office has created the South Asian Literary Recordings Project, with audio recordings of seven Sri Lankan authors including Gunadasa Amarasekara, Anne Ranasinghe and Punyakante Wijenaike reading from their books.
