The WERC library holds a specialized collection on women’s studies, women’s literature, and women’s issues with special reference to law, economics, politics, sexuality, war, and violence. It has holdings Nivedhini (English language feminist journal) and Pravahini (bi-annual newsletter published in Sinhala, Tamil and English). The library also holds an archive of newspaper clippings on women’s Issues and on violence against women, and publications and research by its founder, Dr. Selvy Thiruchandran.
